AlensiaXR (formerly Ilumis) is a company that uses mixed-reality software to teach human anatomy. Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) launched Ilumis in 2023 to help CWRU spread its HoloAnatomy software. Ilumis’s HoloAnatomy software uses holographic imagery to teach human anatomy more cost-effectively. The software uses Mixed Reality technology to illuminate the human body in three dimensions. Students are said to learn faster, retain more information, and have unprecedented collaborative potential.
