Tertill created a small solar-powered garden robot that lives in outdoor beds and manages weeds for home gardeners. The robot moves around plants, churns the soil surface, and trims emerging weeds with a built-in string trimmer instead of using herbicides. This helps keep vegetable and flower gardens clearer of weeds with less daily yard work and less bending and hand pulling.
