SpaceIL built the Beresheet spacecraft, the first private one to reach the Moon, and runs science education programs and lectures for schools.

SpaceIL created Beresheet 1, a private spacecraft launched in 2019 that entered lunar orbit before a hard landing. The group now advances Beresheet 2 using lessons from the first mission. It delivers lectures and workshops to preschools through grade 12, plus adult talks and teaching materials. These programs share the spacecraft story and push science, engineering, and math studies. Over a million students have joined these efforts.
