futureTEKnow is building a living map of emerging technology companies, and the most useful insights come from people actually doing the work: founders, operators, investors, engineers, and subject-matter experts. If you’re in the trenches starting, scaling, or funding tech companies, your experience can help others navigate what’s next.

futureTEKnow is also a home for the next generation of tech storytellers.

If you’re a brand-new tech blogger or a student in a journalism, media, or communications program who wants to build a portfolio around emerging technology, we’d love to see your work.

The people who will build and cover the future of tech are starting now, and this is a place to experiment, learn the craft, and get your byline in front of founders and operators.

Why write for futureTEKnow?

  • Reach a focused audience of founders, operators, investors, and ecosystem builders studying emerging tech

  • Establish or deepen your reputation as a thoughtful expert or up-and-coming tech journalist

  • Contribute to a shared knowledge base that makes building future-facing companies more transparent and less lonely

What we’re looking for

  • Actionable content: clear lessons, frameworks, postmortems, case studies, or “here’s exactly how we did it” breakdowns

  • Original work: submissions must be your own and not previously published elsewhere

  • Substance over hype: it’s fine to reference your company or projects, but the piece should be educational, not a sales pitch

  • Reader-friendly structure: aim for 800+ words with a clear thesis, section headings, and links to external data or sources where relevant

Who should contribute

  • Founders and co-founders of emerging technology companies

  • Operators (product, growth, engineering, data, compliance, etc.) with hands-on stories

  • Investors, researchers, and ecosystem leaders with deep exposure to early-stage tech

  • New tech bloggers and current students in journalism or related programs who want to build a real-world portfolio in tech and startups

How to submit

Email your idea or a complete draft to [contributors@futureteknow.com]. Include:

  • A working title and 3–5 bullet points summarizing what readers will learn

  • A short bio (1–2 sentences) and your current role, company, or school – we will create an author’s bio for your posts (like this: Contributors – futureTEKnow)

  • Links to any previous writing or projects, if available, not a must

We review submissions on a rolling basis. If your piece is a fit, we’ll follow up with suggested edits (if needed) and a target publication date. Please note that the contributor program is currently unpaid.
