PIAP Space, is a subsidiary that originated from the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Industrial Institute for Automation and Measurements (Ł-PIAP). The entities that currently hold ownership of PIAP Space are the Industrial Development Agency (IDA) and Ł-PIAP.

PIAP Space has developed several projects such as EROSS IOD (European Robotic Orbital Support Services In Orbit Demonstrator), ORBITA, and TITAN. The EROSS IOD project aims to enable the deployment of advanced space robotics to support sustainable development in space. The ORBITA project focuses on the development of a family of modular grippers for orbital and planetary applications. The TITAN project advances the development of a robotic arm for satellite servicing.
